Meet Little Man TATE. He is the official Little Shoppe in the Village Pup. We adopted Tate October 28th, 2010. He was 8 weeks old and weighted 1.44 lbs. Today Tate is almost 15 weeks old and weights 2.88 lbs. He loves everyone and loves helping at the shop. He is good at getting the bags out on the floor, he also likes to help with the wrapping paper!

Stained Glass Lamps

We have just received some truly beautiful and one of a kind stained glass lamps: Flowering Lotus Floor Lamp with cherub and marble base, Nautilus shell table lamp in pink irridized, and a heavy leaded table lamp with blue wispy glass. Must see to appreciate the beauty, but we will be posting pictures. Peggy forgot her camera today.

We also have a great selection of iron pieces for your garden, porch or yard.

We have been a little slack on the blog, but times are busy.

Hasn’t this been a heavy pollen spring. Everybody’s sneezing their heads off.

Got lots of new arrivals which is good since we sold a lot of treasures during Easter week! We admit that we’ve been slack on getting pictures on here and keeping this up to date, but we have been so very busy with customers that we just haven’t had time…which is a good thing!!

Sure has been beautiful these last couple of days. I love the spring.

Peggy’s daughter is getting married next weekend and we all wish them the best. Of course Peggy will be running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off next week, but will make a beautiful mother of the bride.

Come by the shoppe and say hello. We put in over 50 new items yesterday which included some new cute summer jewelry.

Thought of the day.. go with the flow, swimming against the current is just too tiring..

Spring is on the way?

We sure hope so…tired of all this cold weather. We even saw snowflakes this morning-several times, but thank goodness that’s all it was!

We have some great new wicker furniture and a beautiful rattan set with floral cushions, a wonderful white bar with four stools, and some concrete planters. We even have some live plants now. Come on in and see all the new treasures.

Did You Build A Snowperson?

Wasn’t that snow a treat! I had snowcream for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. For those of you who haven’t ever had snowcream if you want to know how to fix it, let me know.

We will be getting some pictures up and running soon. We’re getting ready to change the store around again..something we truly love doing. We just got in a great wine rack/etegere (not sure of spelling) with 4 glass shelves. Very nice piece.

Looks like we might get some white stuff this weekend. If we do, hope everyone who has to get out in it drives carefully and watch out for that other person…they may not be watching out for you!

We should have some new pictures up next week. Getting some outdoor furniture in, and other treasures so we will be rearranging the store again, which we absolutely love doing. Come in and see what’s new.

Wow…we really dodged the bullet with the weather this past weekend. I must admit, sometimes I’d like a big bowl of old fashioned snow cream.

Things have been a little quiet, so I must admit I was excited when one of our consignors called today to tell me she’s bringing in four boxes of treasures! We got a vintage banjo in today with is pretty cool.. especially since I used to play one.

Peggy’s been slammed with real estate, but we will get some new pictures up soon.

We were very busy at the Little Shoppe this week! As I was driving to the Shoppe this morning I was organizing my day. I realized I had not taken time to post some of the new items we have gotten in. I don’t know if anyone is reading our blog but I will continue working on master all of this new technology! Thanks Ed for working with Vicky and I trying to teach us how to do this. Once we get this mastered he going to teach us how to do video’s. I am not sure if the world is ready for that!

If anyone reads this blog, we are having a sale on selected items. Quite a few items actually.

Been quiet here today. Only 22 peeps in so far… yep that’s quiet for us.. usually 30 – 35 peeps a day. Sold some stuff, had $1.00 menu lunch. Not such an exciting day.

Just got in a fabulous goat skin table lamp, a beautiful cobalt blue candle stand. To try and describe it wouldn’t do it justice… so come on by and see this beauty. Well we are into our 10 week and have over 2000 items in the shop!

This last weekend Waterford Shoppes had a festival and we had over 200 visitors to the shoppe!
